The 1st Team’s last home game and penultimate game of the season saw a visit from old rivals Whitstable. Both teams have seen improved form lately, with the Rams pursuing the play-offs and the Oystermen achieving safety from the drop back tothe Kent League.

In the reverse ‘Boxing Day’ fixture bragging rights went to today’s visitors after a late Stuart Vahid goal, but he has returned to the Rams since. Today the Rams looked the stronger side and had a stonewall penalty decision given as a freekick from the edge of the area, but it was one of the former Rams in the Whitstable line-up, Ian Pulman, who scored the only goal in the 90th minute.
