Rams get Keeper Cover

With Daren Hawks’ loan from Gillingham extended for a month, and hopes high that he will be fit for The Rams’ game against Walton & Hersham on Tuesday, the Club today signed local ‘keeper Matt Lamprell. 20 year-old Lamprell, pictured below, started playing football at six and went on to respresent Thanet and Kent, as well as academies such as QPR, Cardiff City and Millwall. He played 1^st team football at Ebbsfleet United and Margate last season, and made history earlier this year by becoming the first student to be awarded a University Scholarship Award for football from Christchurch University. He joins the Rams from Whitstable.
