Following Saturday’s goal-less draw, there were another 90 minutes to settle this tie on a blustery wet night at Southwood. Both sides had chances in the first half of a very lively match, with end-to-end football, however in the 2nd half the Hawks seemed to get the upper hand, with the decisive goal coming from Sam Gargan in the 51st minute. So the Rams exit to probably one of the two strongest sides in the League, while the Hawks enjoy a trip to Folkestone in the next round (who beat Whyteleafe 2-1 tonight).
And on Saturday, the Rams play the Hawks for the 3rd time in 8 days as they visit East Brighton Parkin the League.
