Rams 1 Herne Bay 0 – Friendly

Back-to-back games at Southwood this afternoon, with a real East Kent football flavour.

The 1st team played neighbours Herne Bay in a friendly at 12pm (noon), which ended up in a 1-0 win to the Rams thanks to a Mark Lovell goal just before halftime. With several of the 1st team squad still missing through illness a number of Reserves/Under 18s came on in the 2nd half, although all but one of these also featured in the Reserves’ League Cup win over Deal Town that followed at 3pm.
