Ladies v Eastbourne Town – FAWC

FA action returned to Southwood Sunday afternoon when the Ladies welcomed Eastbourne Town in the 1st Qualifying Round of the Women’s Cup.

Although, following promotion to the L&SECRFL, Eastbourne play their football three divisions higher than the Rams, the girls still gave it their all, and had the chance to go 2-0 up, but the class of their opponents (and losing two key players to injury) helped Town on to a win with a scoreline that was slightly flattering.
