Reserves 1 Herne Bay 3 – LCup

The Reserves succumbed to Div 1 outfit Herne Bay in today’s league cup group match. Although Bay are currently at the top of the higher division the 1st half was pretty close for most of the time, and Bay’s 1-0 lead at the interval came from an error allowed them to run through down the left flank to catch ‘keeper Dave Parker off his line.

In the 2nd half the Rams equalised through substitute Dan Langiano, but in the closing stages they appeared  to start losing their composure, and the visitors bagged two more to seal the win.
