Community Coaching is an area that the Club have developed over the past few years, with a number of initiatives in its Football In The Community Programme that aim to give youngsters fun exercises whilst keeping fit and learning the values of being part of a team.
As well as doing in-school coaching sessions and after school clubs, Ramsgate also offers a number of services direct to players and their parents.
There are a number of organisations that currently offer some of these services, but with Ramsgate you are sure that, as an FA Charter Development Club, our coaches are not only FA qualified but are also fully CRB checked.
The sessions are coordinated and delivered by our Head Youth Coach and FITC Officer, former Gillingham captain Mark Weatherly, who in addition to more than 500 games in his professional playing career, has also coached for Chelsea in the past and is also head coach at the academy at Sandwich.
As well as applying the very latest techniques Mark ensures that all the sessions are fun, otherwise the players won’t enjoy themselves and will not gain as much as they could.

All of the sessions are held on private property, ensuring a safe and secure environment with all the required facilities.
