Ashley Groombridge – 23 year old defensive midfielder who played for the Rams as a youth before accepting an apprenticeship with Woking at 16, where he featured for both the youth side and the Reserves. Released and returned to the Rams in 2010/11 before moving to Godalming and then Margate. Re-joined the Rams at the start of last season but left after a couple of months searching for more starts, signing for Faversham this year before re-joining the Rams in March.

An excellent shot stopper, Daren was called into the 1st team in 2010/11 when Lance Cronin was injured, and ended the season on a 3 month loan at Ebbsfleet where he helped them through the play-offs. Turned professional 2011 and had a 3 month loan with the Rams at the start of the 2011/12 campaign. Josh Maughan – 19 year old Dover-born defender who joined the Rams in December 2012 on work experience from Gillingham. Work commitments have affected his availability for both training and matches in 2013/14, and so far this season he has only made one appearance (in a League Cup tie).
Jon Main - 33 year old striker with a proven track record in Ryman and Conference football. Perhaps best known for his spells with Tonbridge Angels, Dartford and AFC Wimbledon before his 2nd spell with the Angels was cut short through a knee injury. Although he has played for the Gills in the Kent Senior Cup this season he is yet to make his 1st team League debut, but is pushing hard to force his way in to 1st team consideration. Had a period on loan at Herne Bay last season, and decided to wear the shirt of his hometown side for a spell (in the face of interest from others), returning to the Gills in February.
Andy Miller - 20 year old attacking winger who has previously spent time at Dover and Folkestone, and scored in an FA Youth final at Wembley for Kent with a broken ankle! Originally trialled for the Rams and played in the pre-2011/12 season matches, but wasn’t picked up for the league campaign but, after a spell at Deal, joins Ramsgate for 2013/14. Played for the Rams until March 2014 when he decided to follow former 1st team coach Steve Nolan to Whitstable.
Marvin Okundalaiye - 23 year old defensive midfielder who impressed at a trial in May, having played at right back for Herne Bay last season, and Whitstable and Faversham before that. Decided to take a break in September, having failed to achieve a regular place in the starting XI, but still on the Rams’ books.
Jack Parter - 19 year old defender who joins the Rams for a 2nd loan spell from Gillingham, the previous loan being near the end of the 2011/12 season. Almost re-joined the Rams at the start of 2011/12 but opted for Conference football with Eastbourne Boro, returning to Southwood mid-campaign for the remainder of the season. Made a handful of appearances for the Rams as cover for injuries in autumn 2013.

Curtis Robinson 24 year old defender / winger who is most comfortable in central or left positions, and who was part of the Rams’ U18 and Reserve teams before leaving for university, at which point he spent a season with Dover Reserves before moving to Hartsdown Park. After 4 years he was one of the longest-standing players at the club, with over 100 appearances, but terms were eventually agreed for his return to the Rams in 2012/13, where he scored some tremendous goals from the wing, as well as staunch defending while at centre back.

Remained a mainstay in the Reserves at Southwood, including a spell at Hartsdown, before joining Sittingbourne for 2012/13 under former (Ramsgate) manager Jim Ward, where he became vice-captain. Returned to Southwood after New Year 2014.
Luke Wheatley - 22 year old defender who came on a month’s loan from neighbours Margate in October 2009 but was recalled at the end of the initial loan. Re-joined the Rams on a permanent basis 2 months before the end of that season and has grown in stature as part of the Rams’ defence since. Side-lined in October 2012 through a broken leg, and although he returned fit and strong for the new campaign he suffered another break in September 2013, leaving him on the sidelines for the rest of the season.
