A prodigious talent still learning his craft, in need of regular 90s to improve his sharpness and hone his skills, as well as strengthen him up (still only 17 remember). To failitate this he has gone on loan at Hythe Town for 2 months which, hopefully, will help his development. We'll be keeping an eye on his progress, and I guess you guys will too.

Good luck Gary i hope you get the 90mins every week, i can't see it myself with Cass, Mickelborough and Cook up front. I'd rather see you play every week for the Rams

Considering he was on fire in pre season training and with a hugely improved attitude to boot , i find this decison bizzare.

Good luck Gary.

Still developing as a player, so no use him sitting on the bench.

I actually thought he looked the sharpest forward we had, lets just hope its not another talent gone to waste,he was gagging at the bit to get a run

Its a shame for gary,i really liked him, hopefully when he comes back,he will get a run of games to show his true potential

Totally agree.

Especially when, like Mick says, he's looked the sharpest of all our strikers.

We have forwards that cant score a goal for peanuts, and we send on loan a natural goal scorer.as someone has commented Bizarre. Seems at times because off his age he was the one subbed even though from the terraces we can clearly see he was the best forward we had at a particular match, he deserved a good run but alas those watching knew it was`nt going to happen.

as i said last year if your good enough then your old enough but i got shot down for saying this. Talking to Stuart Vahid today and he commented that it didnt do him and Edd any harm in fact it gave them confidence.  CRAZY.

I think this move will hopefully give Gary confidence in his play and enable him to start hitting the back of the net on a regular basis.

To be honest Zak Thomas looks a better prospect at the moment
