Looks like Appiah is off to Blackpool, with a £200,000 fee agreedFrown

Still at least they will be able to pay their tax bill this year.

I wonder if we got the same fee when Greggs signed  for Canterbury FC ?

With Greggs gone, and Ollie gone, im a bit concerned with our lack of defensive playersFrown

Especially as on average we are conceding nearly two goals a game and not had a clean sheet in the League since early September.Cry

Also heard there was a 7 day approach for Wedgeworth , if he goes i can only see OB as cover and he isnt a left back.

Wedgeworth's registration just cancelled. Let's not forget we still have Luke Wheatley – played at left back for a lot of the early season games and, in my opinion, did very well.

Agree Martin he's played well at left back, but then who would replace him at centre back?

Yes, got a few leases rubber stamped, Oregon USA, but not quite as straight forward as you might be thinking & not quite there just yet. Still one more hurdle to overcome & we'll be there. Hopes are high that that hurdle will be crossed without mishap but I am still wary of this council & am remaining cautious.
As for Kwesi Appiah, who knows,he might have had a better offer elsewhere to turn down a sparkling move to that particular Championship club. Time will tell.
If he is as ambitious as I believe him to be then there must have been good reason to turn down Blackpool.

I suspect that Mr Appiah is being represented by an agent – the scourge of the game at all levels, in my opinion!  "Leave it to me, Kwesi, I can get you a better deal than that".

I hate to mention 'them' but with reports in todays gazette suggesting he's being watched by spurs!
Could be a deal made in heaven (or hell)
So many jokes, such little time lol
I expect cmfc will know their chairperson and managers dogs names and can pass these on so the necessary deal can be made ;-)

Maybe he is falling between two stools at present? Not good enough for the football league but too expensive for a conference team?
