Ramsgate FC are delighted to have another Munday pull on the Red shirt.
Mark Munday is a well-known name around Ramsgate FC having been part of the title-winning side of 2005. Just over 10 years on and its his son Jake making waves in non-league.
The exciting young U21 regular had featured on the Rams First XI bench a number of times but it was on Saturday against Tooting & Mitcham United he got his chance.
On 65 minutes chasing the game 3-0 down, Jim and Danny Ward threw on young Jake along with Aaron Millbank, and blimey did he take his chance.
Just 5 minutes into his debut Jake Munday scored, and although the fairytale story didn't end in a full comeback finishing 3-2, Ramsgate can still draw positives another young prodigy has broken through to the first team.
Jim and Danny Ward have been vocal in their support for youth progression and have awarded debuts to the Paxman twins, Kane Smith, Jack Penny, Naill Salisbury, James Tonkin, Dom Crawford and now Jake Munday.
Good luck Jake, we look forward to many more impressive performances!
