Last season was very successful for Ramsgate's younger Kent Youth League squads, with the Under 13s reaching the final of the Kent FA Youth Cup and the Under 14s finishing runners-up in the League (having won the U13 League Cup the year before - pictured left).

Ramsgate are looking to strengthen both squads for the 2008/09 season and anyone who thinks they have got what it takes to play for Thanet's top teams in these age groups are welcome to attend the start of pre-season training on Friday 11^th July (with suitable clothing, boots and shinpads).

The sessions will be held at the Clarendon School playing fields, off Telham Avenue, Ramsgate, from 6pm - 7.30pm, and will be supervised by the Club's FA qualified coaches.

Last night the 'A' Team beat the Elephant & Castle 8-1 on the red baize at The Rams' Club.

The 'B's maintained their winning streak with their first league victory, 5-4 away against?East Kent 'A' (shame that Mick's streak still hasn't started yet, or so I'm told).

We're now one week into pre-season training and only two weeks to the first friendly against Welling United.
