The RAMS travelled to West Sussex to face high-flying Worthing, with the hosts having the best of the 1st half and a 1-0 lead at the interval after Sam Mott's clearance rebounded leaving Ben Williamson to slot home. The Rams rallied in the 2nd half and had the best of the play, with skipper Warren Schulz scoring in the 49th and 59th minutes. The Rebels went down to 10 in the 2nd half after Ben Woodburn received his 2nd caution in a very physical encounter, with Jamie Brotherton getting an equaliser in the 89th minute from the penalty spot.

Ramsgate youngster Gary Lockyer is hoping to have done enough to grab the attention of a Football League club after impressing during a trial with Crystal Palace last week. Lockyer scored twice for the Eagles against a Queens Park Rangers youth side with a number of League One and Two scouts watching on.

Ramsgate are pleased to have signed 18 year old striker Joe Taylor from Margate.

Joe who was called up to the Margate first team squad at the start of the 2008-09 season as a 17 year old, made his debut in the FA Cup, making more regular appearances near the end of the season.
