14 Apr: Blacky's Briefing

Blacky looks back at the Wasps and to the Terrors tomorrow

Last Saturday we travelled away to East Grinstead and although arguably created better opportunities in the first half, we found ourselves 1-0 down at the break. A very productive chat at half time ironed out the things we were doing wrong and we immediately pegged them back moments after the restart. From then we never looked back and could easily had another couple of goals. It was extremely pleasing and I've said it before that the players must take all the credit for the way they are able to listen and take on board information we say. I've no doubt it was the reason we were able to turn the result around.

Our visitors tomorrow are having a fantastic season and are currently 5 pts clear at the top of the league having already amassed over 100 pts in total. They will be looking for results to go their way on Saturday, which could see them clinch the title. It's up to us today to try spoil those celebrations and we currently find ourselves on a fine run of form. It's always a cliche to say "confidence is running high through the squad", but it's certainly true and our results and performances have been impressive of late.

Three games remain this season and we plan to continue to improve and stay focused on these upcoming games. Finishing the season as high as we can is our priority.

Cheers

Blacky
