A quick look back at Horsham, but focus now on the Stags tomorrow

On Saturday we gained a valuable 3 points against Horsham, thanks to an excellent finish from Alfie. We had numerous chances to put the game to bed but credit must go to the players for keeping a clean sheet and gaining the victory. It'll certainly give the players confidence but they now must continue to build from it.

‘One swallow does not make a summer’ and as a group we must focus on improvement, but after the amount of goals we conceded lately it's credit where credits due and I was delighted for the boys.

Tomorrow night we welcome Walton Casuals, have started their season well and currently find themselves just outside the playoff places. Myself and Anthony Gale are good friends and we've spoken numerous times over the last few months and he shares the same ideas and philosophy as a coach as I do. We’re well aware of the tough challenge they will present however that's 10pts from a possible 15 for us and we aim to improve on that.
