The best way to keep up to date with Ramsgate Football Club

Rams' Choir Out-sing their hosts - even in the pouring rain!

What an amazing bunch of fans we have!

For those of you who travelled to Chelmsford Saturday I would like to thank you all for your amazing support. I'm just gutted we were unable to produce a display on the pitch that equalled your performance.

However we have to take our hats off to Chelmsford. That's why they play at the level they do. Not only were they very good but their professionalism was exemplary and I'm sure was a real eye opener for our young players.

The score line was one I didn't take lightly. For 40mins although under pressure I felt we defended well and that always gives you a chance but a couple of silly mistakes at crucial times again cost us and with the score line 2-0 at half time it was always going to be difficult to get back into the game. Had it been 0-0 or 1-0 I felt we would've still been in the tie.

What I wasn't happy with though was the way we conceded sloppy goals from set pieces.

The reality is it was always going to be a very, very difficult game to get a result. I for one won't stop until we get out of this dip of form we are in. These players haven't become bad players overnight but at times like this we all need to work even harder and to stick together.

We've more tough fixtures coming up, starting Saturday away at Thamesmead, but we will turn the corner and rest assured I will do everything in my power to make that be sooner rather than later.

Stick together.
