Kent Youth League
The Valley Express Kent Youth League is the senior youth football league in Kent. In addition to running their league and league cups, the League’s administration also runs the John Ullmann Youth Cup (which is open to teams outside of Kent) and also the Kent FA Youth Cup competitions. Membership, and suitable performance in this League, is also a requisite for non-league clubs wishing to enter the FA Youth Cup.
The League is an FA Charter Standard League and is run on very similar lines to adult/senior leagues, and runs teams arranged in geographical divisions in five age groups – Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, Under 16s and Under 18s.
Ramsgate has a team competing in each of these age groups and is one of very few clubs in Kent that achieve this, and the only club in Thanet that is competing at this level.
