Jason Lillis Teams up with Terry Sedge and Joe Radford at Ramsgate FC

Ramsgate Football Club are delighted to confirm the appointment of Jason Lillis as our Head of Coaching Development, as well as Terry Sedge who will work in tandem with Jason at the club.

Jason succeeds Nick Davis, who was relieved of his duties in September due to the current league position of the first team, and will immediately take up his duties at the club.

Speaking on his appointment, Jason stated the following:

“A position became available at the Club and I felt I could offer my services,”

“I had the opportunity to advise the club’s Owner Richard Lawson and Director & CEO Paul Bowden-Brown on how I feel the Club, throughout, could benefit from the knowledge and experience I have gained from coaching in professional football.”

“My role at Gillingham FC in Coach Development could certainly aid my development as a coaching mentor at the Club; I want to implement some of the same ideas at Ramsgate.”

“With my experience in that capacity, I feel I can work with all the coaches and players to make sure they improve and move forward for the progression of the football club.”

“I look forward to working with the joint management team of Terry Sedge and Joe Radford to help move the club forward.”

Director & CEO Paul Bowden-Brown has welcomed Jason and Terry to the club and looks forward to working with them in the immediate future.

“I feel the first team will gain the stability and the drive to climb the table under Jason's influence and structure and our U23’s will gain plenty of knowledge in the qualities needed to step up to the senior side.”

“Our thriving Youth will benefit greatly from his experience and expertise in structuring the training sessions that will aid the coaches and the players in developing them in all aspects of the game.”

“I would also like to thank Will Graham, Joe Radford and Ian Docker for stepping in and steadying the ship. You must all agree an improvement has been seen on and off the field in this short space of time.”

Everybody at Ramsgate Football Club wishes Jason the very best in his new role.
