Jude Arthurs - "I'll Look to Continue Creating and Scoring but the Most Important Thing is Getting Points on the Board"

Jude Arthurs -

Ramsgate loanee Jude Arthurs has given us his match reaction to Saturday’s 2-2 draw against promotion chasers Whitehawk FC.

“I thought we started the game really brightly, especially the first 20 minutes. We didn’t let Whitehawk play as they would’ve liked too throughout the 90 minutes”

“I’m speaking for all of the lads when I say we were very disappointed to go into the break two-nil down. Conceding a goal on the verge of half-time is very frustrating, even more so when you’ve performed well as a team.”

“We all know they were two poor goals to concede in the first-half and we needed to rectify that in the second-half.”

“In the end we probably should’ve gone on to win the game once we had equalised. We had a chance right at the end and I’m not sure how it didn’t go in!”

“In the changing room after the game we couldn’t quite believe we hadn’t won the match. As a team we felt we did enough and on another day maybe we would’ve been more fortunate.”

“At the end of the day a point against the side third in the league isn’t something we should take for granted.”

“On a personal note I thought I grew into the match as it went on I was happy to contribute to the second goal. I have high expectations for myself and I’ll look to continue creating and scoring but the most important thing is getting points on the board. We go again on Tuesday.”
