Kane Rowland: 8 Games Without a Goal Must be a New Record for me!
Kane Rowland admitted he was delighted to end his goal drought on Saturday, ending a run of 8 games without a goal.
"8 games without a goal? That must be a new kind of record for me!" Kane said.
"I think I've been a bit unlucky in terms of chances, but today was clear cut and I had to score,"
"It was a painful wait, but I'm happy to score and hopefully It leads to many more."
Rowland was sent off in the 81st minute against Hythe Town on the weekend, though the club intend to appeal the decision.
"I think it was a pathetic decision, it's as simple as that," Kane said.
"The referee was awful on Saturday in my opinion. I believe I got the ball and then saw a red card,"
"I just hope it gets rescinded and I don't receive a suspension."
Ramsgate earned a point following a 2-2 draw on the weekend, but in the circumstances, it felt like a win according to Kane Rowland.
"I personally feel like we were the better team even when playing with 10 men for the majority of the game, so it feels like a win after coming from behind,"
"It's still frustrating not to get the 3 points of course, we just need to keep pushing on to get back into winning form,"
"We face Phoenix Sports at home next week and we are determined to get the win."
