Kane Rowland: We Can't Afford to Slip up Anymore Following East Grinstead Defeat
Following Ramsgate's narrow 1-0 defeat against East Grinstead Town FC on Saturday, Kane Rowland has admitted his side cannot afford to slip up anymore if they are to have a shot of making the play-offs this season.
"Against Cray next week we really need to get a good result," Kane said.
"We can't really afford anymore slip ups now if we are to have any chance of earning a play-off spot."
The forward admitted his side lacked creativity on Saturday, but that Ramsgate were good enough for a point.
"It was a very scrappy, stop-start game I thought," Kane said.
"The referee didn't help us out and I'm not going to blame him for our loss, but he wasn't on our side that's for sure,"
"I don't think we were particularly great in attack, we didn't create that much - but neither did they,"
"I suppose it could've gone either way and a draw would've been the fair result."
You can see Ramsgate take on Cray Wanderers at Southwood on Saturday 16th February, 15:00pm kick-off.
