MATCH PREVIEW: Cray Valley PM v Ramsgate FC

Ramsgate Football Club take on Cray Valley PM for more Isthmian League action on Saturday afternoon at the Badgers Sports Ground, 3:00pm kick-off.

Matt Longhurst’s side will look to pick up where they left off following a 3-0 victory against Faversham Town last week.

Ramsgate will welcome new boy Mitchell Chapman into the squad having joined from Sevenoaks Town this week.

Longhurst should have a fully fit squad at his disposal barring no last minute issues.

“It will be another tough game for us against a side fighting for promotion this season.”

“Cray Valley have just made a couple of great additions to their squad and you can clearly see by those signings that they have high aspirations to get promoted.”

“Yes it will be a tough ask but I feel we’ve done quite well on the whole against teams in the top half of the table.”

“The players get an opportunity to impress and prove themselves once again and it’s a great way of seeing where we are at as a side.”

“I think we also need to be mindful that we certainly aren’t out of the woods yet in terms of the relegation battle - there will be no room for complacency and the players have been reminded of that.”

“As things stand I should have a fully fit squad available at my disposal tomorrow. Ollie Gray is getting closer to building up some fitness and Jamie Maxted has now served his suspension so it’s promising.”

“The only issue we might have is with Kane [Rowland]. He picked up a little niggle a few weeks back but managed to play out last Saturday’s match. Hopefully he’ll be fine.”

“We’ll be full of confidence tomorrow and fingers crossed the weather will be kind to us.”

Please take a look at directions to the ground ahead of your trip if needed.
