MATCH PREVIEW: Herne Bay vs Ramsgate FC
Ramsgate Football Club take on Herne Bay for more Isthmian League action on Tuesday evening at the Winch's Field Stadium, 7:45pm kick-off.
Matt Longhurst’s side will look to get back to winning ways following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat against Three Bridges.
Aaron Simpson will be welcomed back after missing Saturday’s defeat against Three Bridges with illness.
Rob Saunders is back available for Ramsgate whilst James Morrish faces a late fitness test on a rib injury.
Ollie Gray misses out tomorrow with a hamstring issue.
“Tomorrow will be tough of course. Herne Bay are having a terrific season having invested well on some of the players they’ve brought in.”
“Now obviously they are beginning to produce the results they’re capable of compared to a difficult start to the campaign.”
“Herne Bay are still fighting for a play-off spot and they will look to continue that form they’re in. They will be full of confidence I'm sure.”
“After Saturday, which was almost a bit of a non-event with the way the game turned out, the players are really looking forward to getting back out there and rectifying that performance.”
“I believe we are more than a match for all teams at this level but we need to go out there and show that on the pitch. We have another opportunity to get our ideas across and implement what we’re trying to do.”
“The players are in a positive frame of mind after a good chat following the game on Saturday. It’s of course important that we put some of the wrongs right but at the same time I didn’t think it was necessary to over-analyse the Three Bridges performance. We’ll wipe the slate clean and go again.”
