MATCH PREVIEW: Ramsgate FC v Three Bridges
Ramsgate Football Club take on Three Bridges for more Isthmian League action on Saturday at the Southwood Stadium, 3:00pm kick-off.
Matt Longhurst’s side will look to continue winning ways having picked up back to back wins against Ebbsfleet United and East Grinstead.
Tom Chapman is set to make his return to action following a lengthy 4-month spell on the sidelines with a wrist injury. The Ram forward trained on Thursday.
Rob Saunders is back available for Matt Longhurst whilst Ollie Gray misses tomorrow’s match with a hamstring injury.
Longhurst is also hopeful new signing James Morrish will be determined fit to make the squad.
“We face a tough test tomorrow against Three Bridges, obviously we have done our homework on them.
“They have a lot of pace in wide areas and some very talented players with the likes of Tom Tolfrey and Lee Hall amongst their ranks, as well as the experience of Dean Gunner at the back. Then of course they’ve got the midfield threat of Brannon O’neill and Curtis Gayler.
“I believe their league position is a little bit false with the group that they’ve been able to assemble and as I say, they will certainly pose us a threat.
“For ourselves it looks very much like James Morrish should be available for selection, as is Tom Chapman, and that’s two massive boosts for us tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to working with both players.
“The players have worked hard in training on Thursday and it’s important that the players understand the importance of matching the work-rate they’ve shown since I have been at the club - that goes for all of the staff too, I must thank them for their hard work and support.
“Things are beginning to fall into place for us at the moment, but I have to continue to reiterate that this is still the start of the process and of course there will still be plenty of bumps along the road as well.
“All in all, It’s another productive week and now we look forward to tomorrow’s match prior to Herne Bay midweek. We go into the game full of confidence but with the mindset of needing to continue the hard-work and the quality will come through.”
