Nick's Notes: January Reflection, Looking Ahead & Welcoming a New Signing

Nick's Notes: January Reflection, Looking Ahead & Welcoming a New Signing

31/01/2019

Yeah, it was a good month for us, January.

Before last Saturday’s game we had taken 10 from a possible maximum of 12 points, and we always knew the game away to Horsham would be a difficult one.

To be disappointed to have lost, and for there to be very little between the teams, is a credit as to where we are at the moment.

We need to keep pushing on, improving, and finish the season as best we can and as high as we can. All with one eye on really pushing on next year and competing for promotion, which is the ultimate aim.

Two tough games await us in Greenwich and Herne Bay, and we will be looking for a reaction and hopefully go on another run.

You will also see a new player in squad in Gil Carvalho, who I have worked with previously at Sittingbourne. He will give us more competition in an attacking sense and I’m sure he will be a crowd favourite with his pace, trickery and directness.
