Terry Sedge Reacts to Three Bridges - "Job Well Done Against a Tough Side in Difficult Conditions Away From Home"
Ramsgate coach, Terry Sedge, believes Saturday’s performance away to Three Bridges on Saturday showcased an improvement to the side.
“I think our performance against Three Bridges showed that we have moved on from last week, despite the fact we only picked up a point rather than three.” Terry said.
“Defensively, we are a much tougher unit to break down. We did the job today - come away from home and kept a clean sheet, which is the first objective.”
“As I’ve said before, if you don’t concede, you don’t lose, and we’ve come away with a solid point.”
Whilst Terry insists the result was a job well done, he was aware of the fact that an opportunity was perhaps missed on the weekend.
“We feel as if we’ve left one behind here because we certainly had chances to get the win. In my opinion, we should be walking away from here with two victories on the bounce.”
“The boys feel the same, but at the end of the day, the lads put an absolute shift in on Saturday and so we aren’t going to cane them for that.”
“In realistic terms, a point away from home against a tough side in difficult conditions is a job well done.”
“We can take a lot of confidence from the fact that it was still a terrific display.”
“We have another away game on Tuesday night against Sittingbourne and if we put in a similar performance things will be looking up for us. I’m sure of that.”
